The improvement of the accessibility of the urban area with the districts and the residential developments in the area of ​​the RM-B33 highway are one of the bets marked by the Consistory.
Thus, within this line of action and within the framework of the Municipal Strategy for the Modernization and Improvement of Mobility and Urban Quality, the City Council has proposed to minimize the barrier effect that this autonomous road represents for pedestrian and cyclist traffic.
To do this, and given the high passage of pedestrians crossing daily in the area of ​​the roundabout of El Descanso, intersection between roads RM-B8 and RM-B33, without there being an area enabled for this purpose, the Local Government will implement an itinerary pedestrian in said intersection to facilitate this journey.
The works, which have a budget of 40,000 euros, will involve the elimination of this barrier for pedestrians, the demolition of elements that impede the passage, the conditioning and execution of sidewalks to ensure a safe and accessible route and the installation of steps of pedestrians
