The Mayor of Lorquí, Joaquín Hernández, held a meeting this week with the Director General of Water of the Autonomous Community, Andrés Martínez, to review and attend to those actions in the area of ​​sanitation that are a priority for the municipality.

During the visit two main projects were dealt with: the West Sanitation collector in Las Carrascas, pending authorization from the Hydrographic Confederation of Segura, which will be attended to imminently and will have a budget of 105,545.92 euros;

And the sanitation collector of La Anchosa, which is currently being drafted and will involve an investment of almost 500,000 euros.

Also, the mayor transferred to the director general the problems of rainfall and the need to improve drainage in the area of ​​Las Carrascas and in the industrial estates of the municipality and the complications associated with groundwater in the urban area that mainly affects the zones Falls near the Scipio and Ermita heads.

Hernández has assured that in all the needs and demands transferred to the General Direction there has been understanding and that will work for both parties to accelerate the processes for the execution of the pending projects.
