The Department of Culture Lorquí has reconvened a year the "Free Christmas Contest" of the municipality, which in 2010 celebrates its sixth edition.
This contest is offered to all residents in the Region of Murcia (regardless of age or nationality) to get the best of their imagination to compose a Christmas carol, which will be valued by a jury composed of representatives of Lorquí Reading Workshop .
To develop these songs you can choose any topic related to Christmas and participants have until the 13 hours on 3 December to submit their works in the City ilorcitano.
"The text must be original and unpublished author," says local Councillor for Culture, Antonio Asensio, which states that the winner Carol "will put the Rondalla music Lorquí and included in his repertoire."
The awards ceremony will be held on December 19 at the Cultural Center "Enrique Tierno Galván" the municipality, where trophies are awarded for first, second and third place.
Clear rules
May submit only one work by author and may not be present works awarded by other public or private.
