The general director of Public Safety and Emergency regional government Luis Gestoso, became officially delivered on the morning of Monday 29 November Lorquí Mayor, Dolores Garcia Villa, the keys to a new car to the local police of the municipality ilorcitano, an act which also was attended by the Sergeant that security, Cayetano Ruiz Garcia.
It is a vehicle whose purchase has been made possible by the investment of nearly € 23,000 to the City Council held ilorcitano, which has received a grant of 21,500 euros from the Regional Government.
The car in question is a Peugeot 308 1.4 VTi Confort, with five doors and 95 hp, fully equipped for police service and that includes in its priority lighting equipment installed on the roof of the vehicle LED lighting system (more efficient in consumption and offering a greater quantity and quality of light).
Five vehicles
With this, the local security force and adds five vehicles in its fleet to carry out their tasks in the municipality, having previously had two other cars (passenger cars and an SUV) and two off-road motorcycles Yamaha XT model 650 CC .
The mayor ilorcitana, Dolores García Villa, said: "This vehicle is perfectly suited to patrol the urban and industrial sites in our municipality."
"Despite being a municipality with an area not very large, police cars made many trips and this addition will facilitate the work of our agents," said Garcia Villa.
