The mayor of Lorquí, Dolores Garcia Villa, and councilman of Youth, Joaquín Lorenzo Cremades, received on Tuesday May 18 in the IES "Romano Garcia" the municipality to the Director of the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia, Veronica Lopez, who has moved to the center to meet ilorcitano teaching students who are working as "Youth Correspondent" in the decentralization program information of said regional institution.
The "Youth Correspondent" are students who are primarily responsible for disseminating and informing young people about calls, resources and activities undertaken by the Institute for Youth to seek them informed as possible.
In addition, another of his work is to gather the concerns of other young people to deliver them to the Institute of Youth.
The young "youth correspondent" for Lorqui also have their own technical support service "Informajoven" local, perform this function from within the institute in order to have direct contact with young people in their own environment.
A youth policy closer
"Our City Council has always contributed to these initiatives and more so when this is done is to bring youth policy for young people in an effective and real," said Garcia Villa.

It should be noted that after the pilot phase developed during 2008-09, in the 2009-2010 school year a total of 70 "Youth Correspondent" who work in 36 institutes throughout the Region of Murcia in 27 municipalities.
