Tarragona welcomes these days, from December 6 to 10, the Classic Bodybuilding World Championship, with more than 180 participating countries, which on this occasion will be represented by the Region of Murcia and the municipality of Lorquí with the presence of Chari Guillén , Pedro Villa, preparador of the third representative of the Region and neighbor of the municipality, the ilorcitano Antonio Hernández Parra, that continues adding championships and successes to his race like sportsman.
"My intention is to be among the first," said Hernández Parra a few days ago when he was received by the mayor of the municipality, Joaquín Hernández, and the deputy mayor, Paqui Asensio, to give him a sweatshirt with the Lorquí shield with which they hope that the athlete receives the prize in the world bodybuilding championship.
In addition, they wished him luck and much encouragement to face the competition because "the previous months of preparation must be very hard and the days of the test intense", as the first mayor commented.
For his part, Antonio Hernández confirmed that the preparation is very demanding, both physically and mentally, because "you have to be 100% and avoid any external eventuality conditioning you."
However, he commented that he feels strong and prepared and very grateful to all those who are supporting his career, among which he highlighted his sponsors Oxygen, Il Bendito and Video Ilorci, and the City Council and the people of Lorquí for their collaboration.
"Although there are many people who stop me on the street to give me encouragement."
Hernandez points out that he does not dedicate himself to this sport professionally, since he runs a family business 'Rustigres' with his brother for 13 years, but it is a hobby that has given him many satisfactions and, as seen, is not It gives nothing wrong.
