Next Thursday, December 13, the Lorquí Dolorosa de Salzillo, currently located in the Sketch Room of the Salzillo Museum, will be moved to the chapel of the Church of Jesus to be contemplated and exhibited next to La Dolorosa de Jesús of Salzillo on the occasion of his stay in the capital until next March.
This way you can see the differences and similarities that the sculptor master carved in the two representations.
The proposal is framed within the activities around the cycle of invited works in the Salzillo Museum, being the Dolorosa de Lorquí which closes the collaboration that has been established with the Parish of Santiago Apóstol and the City Council.
The work will be in the Museum until March 5, 2019.
Also, from 8:00 p.m. and in the context of this transfer, there will be a conference "Salzillo and Lorquí. Paradigm of Change".

Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Granada and Master in Artistic Management from the University of Murcia.
He is a full professor of the Department of Plastic Arts of the IES Arzobispo Lozano de Jumilla, where he teaches Technical Drawing and History of Art.
He is a plastic artist and has carried out individual and collective exhibitions.
He has been curator of the exhibitions that have taken place in the Salzillo Museum around the Salzillelan heritage of Lorquí.
