The Ministry of Development and Infrastructure improves the road safety of the regional road linking the town of Lorquí with the old railway station, known as the La Estación highway, which circulates about 3,000 vehicles a day.
The action consists in the reinforcement of the slopes affected by the rains as well as the road surface, with specific actions to repair the subsidence with the aim of recovering the safety and comfort of the road.
The Minister of Development and Infrastructures, Patricio Valverde, accompanied by the Mayor of Lorquí, Joaquín Hernández, supervised today the works, which have a regional investment of 240,000 euros and are expected to conclude in April.
The counselor highlighted the importance of this action in the RM-B7, which is framed in the conservation program of the regional road network of the Region of Murcia, due to its location as a south access road to the El Salar II industrial estate.
