The website of the City of Lorquí has ​​revalidated the award with an assessment of 96% in the evaluation of criteria of transparency, participation and quality of information, being one of the six consistories of the Region of Murcia that gets this recognition at national level
The Inforpart Quality Seal is awarded by the Autonomous University of Barcelona in collaboration with the University of Murcia.
The winners must exceed the quality criteria required with a total score of 90% or more to obtain the award.
This year the municipalities that have received the seal are Alcantarilla, Las Torres de Cotillas, Águilas, Cartagena, San Pedro del Pinatar and Lorquí.
There has also been a mention of Mula, who has achieved a rating of 87%, close to the number needed to receive the seal.
The purpose of the Infoparticipa project is to recognize local public administrations for their transparency through the official web portal of their municipality and, in turn, to encourage the use of good practices of transparency and participation and promote them among the political and technical managers of the administrations .
The law obliges the administrations to give an objective and truthful treatment to the information and this "must be constantly disseminated and updated on a permanent basis".
The evaluation analyzes up to 52 indicators that start from the base of five main pillars that are:
- Who are the political representatives?
- How they manage collective resources.
- How they manage economic resources.
- What information they provide about the municipality and the management of collective resources.
- What tools do they offer for citizen participation?
In the words of the mayor of Lorquí, Joaquín Hernández "from the government team we continue to bet on transparency, proximity and citizen participation as fundamental axes of our policy, and we have been demonstrating this for the past three years with obtaining this seal which certifies that the neighbors of Lorquí can have access to all information on municipal management.
In addition, we demonstrate that transparency is more an act of will than resource, because being a small town hall we are above the majority of the great ones of the Region. "
The data of each web analyzed is entered in a map that can be consulted through the portal of the organization.
The results are shown in a GoogleMaps map that allows a search by municipalities, provinces and autonomous communities, to see the "meter" that measures with a percentage the final results of the evaluation.
