On November 16, the Awards Ceremony of the Spanish National Association of Animal Rehabilitation and Protection (ANERPA) was held, where the City of Lorquí was one of the winners.
The awards given annually are aimed at institutions, administrations, entities and professionals that are distinguished by their work in the defense and protection of animals and the environment.
The Board of Directors of the Association wanted to extend the award to the Local Police of the municipality.
The performance of the security body in the rescue of White Mare last September 26 was an example of willingness and collaboration, thanks to which this recognition is granted.
"For the City of Lorquí, it is a pride to receive this award, and we want to thank the ANERPA association for recognizing our work and especially the police. Improving security services is one of the priorities in our policies and we want to to extend it to all areas. Therefore, being part of the winners is a great pride. "
Isidoro Martínez, Councilor for Citizen Security and Coexistence, declared.
