The municipality of Lorquí hosts the second sample of this exercise of the Exhibition Spaces Plan that has been launched by the Autonomous Community, through the Ministry of Culture, the Institute of Cultural Industries and Arts and 31 Municipalities of the Region, among the which is the City of Lorquí.
Thus, from November 15 until December 15, the Exhibition Hall of the Town Hall of the Ilorcitano Town Hall will show the works of the Murcian artist Rocío Kunst in his exhibition "Inside the house, outside home", filling an ideal space with art for the dissemination of culture such as the City Council.
Rocío Kunst's works are full of intentions that define the struggle for intimacy in the public space of which we are all part and the refuge of our own with a very peculiar and close to the gloomy symbolism.
"Transparency, light and the spectacle of the contemporary world reach every corner of our intimacy and there are hardly any spaces left in gloom. We live in the brightness of overexposure."
The Exhibition Space Plan meets the objective of increasing the visibility of the creators of the Region and helping them to publicize their work.
This project also meets the purpose of collaborating with the municipalities to expand their cultural offer and that their museums and rooms have quality programming.
"As usual, from the City of Lorquí we want to contribute to the promotion of the arts, introducing it in the daily lives of citizens, in their usual places and environments. Thus, we make our Town Hall a small improvised museum where it is mixed the everyday with art "as highlighted by the Councilor for Culture, María Dolores García Rojo, during the opening of the exhibition last Friday.
