The City of Lorquí, through the Agency for Local Development and Employment, organizes a course, divided into two groups, from Spanish to foreigners.
A total of 30 people, 15 per group, mostly from Morocco and Romania, are trained for language management and thus facilitate their integration into the municipality.
In Lorquí there is an important number of people who do not have a basic knowledge of the Spanish language, so it is more difficult to achieve full inclusion due to the linguistic barrier, since communication is an essential instrument for living together and community participation
This proposal has become a very positive initiative, since it has been done for several years and the result was very good.
Showing the students commitment and enthusiasm for training.
Therefore, after the results and the existing demand, the Lorquí City Council has organized this training activity again.
The objective of these courses is to facilitate the process of inclusion of this group through language learning, allow immigrants to acquire an active role as subjects of participation in the social and educational field and create a space for learning and cultural exchange.
The training began last January and will end at the end of March.
