| "We can see how the installation of a much-needed infrastructure for this district is being carried out", highlights the first mayor | Joaquín Hernández, mayor of Lorquí, together with the councilor for urban planning, Paqui Asensio and the Minister of Agriculture, Antonio Luengo Zapata, visited this morning the works being carried out in the hamlet of La Anchosa with the installation of the General Collector of Sanitation.
The mayoral mayor, María de la Paz Lorca has also joined the event. The improvement of urban quality and the efficient management of municipal infrastructures are one of the fundamental axes of action set by the Government team, where the modernization and optimization of municipal infrastructures and services is one of the priority objectives.
Thus, due to the absence of an adequate sanitation system in the district of La Anchosa (Lorquí), the execution of a main collector is being carried out to collect and conduct the wastewater from this district to its connection to the main collector.
that comes from Torre del Junco (Archena). In this way, the Lorquí City Council together with the Ministry of Agriculture and Water, through the General Water Directorate, have started the process for the collector to be carried out.
Thus, the construction involves a trench 400 mm in diameter, the layout of which will initially run along the Camino de Los Limoneros, along that of Torrejunco, connecting with the existing network at the height of the La Churra farmhouse, occupying a length of almost 1.9 km. The objective of installing these infrastructures is to provide the La Anchosa district with a wastewater evacuation system.
Currently this mainly residential and agricultural area lacks it and its proximity to the autonomous highway RM-554 means that there are numerous hotel and business establishments, aggravating this problem. "Today is an important day, after the demands of the residents of La Anchosa we can see how the installation of a much-needed infrastructure for this district is being carried out, and that fortunately it will provide service to all its inhabitants," he declared.
Joaquín Hernández, Mayor of Lorquí.
