The Lorquí City Council, in collaboration with the Government of Spain and the Ilorcitana company Lorquiplast, will distribute this week, within the health and prevention campaign 'Take care of yourself to take care of everyone', more than 15,000 masks among all residents.
Thus, a paper bag with 10 surgical masks will be delivered to each home, as announced by the mayor of the municipality, Joaquín Hernández, at a press conference.“Although the situation of the municipality is better, it is very important that the protection, prevention and hygiene measures established by the Ministry of Health are followed, since zero risk does not exist, but it is minimized by assuming the protocols recommended by the health authorities.
And one of the most important measures is to always wear a mask in any public or private space, especially when you are in contact with other people.
Hence, and to facilitate compliance with this, from the City Council and in collaboration with Lorquiplast, whom I thank for their involvement with the people, and with the Government of Spain, we are going to send these masks to all homes ", as as Hernández indicated. In addition, it has specified that in the event that a mask is not received in a home or, if there is no one at home, the failed delivery notice to remove them at the City Council also goes to the same to request them. For his part, Pedro José Abad, from the Ilorcitan company, expressed his satisfaction at being able to collaborate with the people in a situation like this and his intention to continue doing so.
