| The initiative, launched by the Department of Culture, will program activities for all audiences | Because this pandemic has already stolen too much from us, the Department of Culture of the Lorquí City Council launches a proposal "with the aim that nothing and no one leaves us without culture", as the councilor for the area, María Dolores García, has advanced.
'Cultura in extremis' is a project that aims to collect a series of cultural and artistic manifestations that were usually carried out in person and offer them to the public through social networks.“We have not been able to enjoy musical performances, theater, leisure activities for too long… and the objective of this action is to prevent this from going on any longer.
Regardless of the health situation, we will be able to listen to music, attend a storyteller or participate in virtual games ”, he added.
In addition, it has affected that this type of initiative is especially important for the little ones "we cannot deprive them of culture."Thus, the program began last month with a storytelling session and a handicraft workshop at the Municipal Library, but it will continue over the next few months with the rest of the activities planned in the program and with other appointments that include concerts of the 'Festival of Ancient Music of Lorquí', the 'Children's Reading Marathon', the 'Tortilla Rock', auditions of the Band and the School of Music of Lorquí, as long as they could not be held in person, congratulations by Santa Cecilia de la Banda, Christmas lights lighting, craft workshop, storytelling, Children's Day commemoration and interactive games such as a virtual escape room, riddles and a video game tournament among other proposals.
