The Lorquí City Council has received from the Government of Spain a total of 320,000 euros for the repair and reconstruction of the infrastructure of the municipality damaged by the storm 'Dana' of last year 2019.

Thus, a first project, with an investment of more than 80,600 euros, between the municipal and state contribution, includes the repair of roads in Cabezo de las Polacas street, the reconstruction of walls and retaining walls and the stabilization of slopes through installation of containment meshes, contribution of land and planting of native plant species.
In this same area, the retaining wall will be repaired and a new wall will be built on Cabezo Escipión Street, the sanitation facilities, telecommunications and the existing road will be renewed, and slopes will be stabilized, for a total of more than 111,300 euros. Regarding rural roads, the damage and faults on the road will be repaired, the road surface will be regularized and the surface will be stabilized and the road surface will be replaced in the asphalted areas around the area of ??Las Carrascas, La Vereda de Abajo and Los Gracianos with two projects for amounts of 43,600 euros and 84,750 euros, respectively.
