The Lorqu City Council, through the Diversity Board, together with the Alfa Association and the Higher School of Dramatic Art, has collaborated in the edition and publication of a manual of good practices.
Practices for the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities through acting and theater.
The book is a commitment to their participation in society and culture as active beings and not only as mere spectators of the work of others; always through a pedagogical model of respect for diversity and community mediation.
In the pages of this you will find a brief history of physical theater, its references and its influence on inclusive theater: theory of inclusive social transformation, legislation on the matter and current situation .
The second part, with practical content, offers advice for teachers, diagrams for the organization of classes and a rich catalog of exercises divided by subjects.
The manual will be useful for a wide range of readers: teachers of workshops for adults and children with and without disabilities, amateur groups, curious self-taught people The authors are Javier Mart nez Lorca, graduated from the ESAD of Murcia, master in AAEE from the University of Murcia and postgraduate in Disability, Inclusion and Citizenship from the University of Castilla La Mancha, currently working as a specialized teacher in intellectual diversity and is manager of the Alfa Association and director of the Corralarte company; and Esperanza Vilad s Coll, graduated from the ESAD of Murcia, a master's degree in AAEE from the University of Murcia and a postgraduate degree in Theater and Performing Arts in London and has worked since 1992 as a teacher at the ESAD of Murcia.
