| The Consistory approves for this year a new line of aid of 150,000 euros to alleviate the effects of the health crisis in the sector | The mayor of Lorqu�, Joaqu�n Hern�ndez, has stated, after meeting with the hospitality sector of the municipality, his disagreement with the measures adopted by the president of the Autonomous Community, Fernando L�pez You look, by offering a different, less restrictive and more advantageous treatment to gambling halls in relation to bars, restaurants and cafes.

"We understand that important actions and drastic measures are necessary to face the terrible situation suffered by the Murcia Region, but we demand equal treatment for those sectors or activities that are similar and that pose the same type of risk.

We believe that gambling halls are not part of an essential sector and that, therefore, they should comply with the same provisions as the hospitality industry, as they are closed places where people interact and, in many cases, we have evidence that it is being consumed, contradicting the norm.

" Thus, the first mayor has shown his support to the establishments of the municipality, in the face of discriminatory treatment by the Autonomous Community, and has advanced to them that the City Council has approved a line of aid for this year 2021 of 150,000 euros aimed at alleviating the effects of this health crisis in the sector; which are added to the 200,000 euros already invested in the previous year.
