Lorquí City Council, through the Resource Center for Equality and in collaboration with local Informajoven service, for free will over the next 29 to June 30 local students to the Museum of Science and Water Murcia.
The visit, aimed at students in grades 5 and 6 primary and of 1, 2, 3 and 4 of secondary education, will coincide with the exhibition "Con A of astronomers," traveling exhibition that speaks to the difficult role of women in the study of the universe.

"Our students can immerse themselves in the science of astronomy, knowing more about concepts such as galaxies, stars, planets, comets ..." says the local Youth Councillor, Joaquín Lorenzo Cremades, who notes that young people "enjoy a Planetarium; whose leadership will be a simulated night sky and observing the Milky Way, the main stars and constellations that form, the planets, the Moon ...".

The exhibition presents a pleasant and attractive a tour of the major milestones in astrophysics in which the role of women has been fundamental.
Thus, we explain the discovery of pulsars (neutron stars that emit radiation periodically), the large-scale structure of universe or the measurement of stellar distances.
This shows, in whose preparation has involved nine astronomers from different research centers in Spain, has 13 panels explaining the nine are devoted to astronomical concepts, two of the historical context and show the relationship between astronomy and culture, gathers the names of the 116 Spanish astronomers and other panel serves as an introduction.
"With A Stargazers" has among its elements with some of the props from the film "Agora" by Alejandro Amenabar, who told the story of Hypatia, a natural philosopher from Alexandria who excelled in mathematics and astronomy.
