Workshop students' employment and masonry landscaping "Natural Area of San Anton" which has been held in recent months in Lorquí attended last week to three sessions coordinated by the Resource Centre for Equality of the municipality to work and awareness of gender equality in general and gender equality in the workplace in particular.
The contents of these sessions, held over the past 15, 17 and 22 June in the morning, covering concepts such as gender stereotypes and roles, productive work, reproductive work and community work, reconciliation of space and time, responsibility for care and domestic tasks, vertical and horizontal segregation in the labor market and workplace harassment based on sex.
Until year end
This employment workshop, which will last until the end of this year, is aimed at unemployed people aged over 25 registered as unemployed at the Employment and Training Service (SEF) Molina de Segura.
Coordinated by the Local Development Department of the municipality, is twofold: first, the employability of its participants and, secondly, the construction of a work of public interest in the industrial park "The Saladar" of the municipality.
So on the one side are 11 workers who participate in the specialty of masonry, plus an expert teacher in this work, on the other, also are 11 participants in the gardening section, whose mission, led by an expert teacher in the sector - also provide jobs in the green areas and gardens of the town ilorcitana.
This has been possible thanks to a grant of more than 465,000 euros granted by the Employment and Training Service (SEF), the Program for Promotion of Local Public Employment and Institutional pursuing job training through employment practice.
To that amount, which will be used both recruitment and expenses arising from the work of the countryside, will add a municipal contribution valued at 12,000 euros.
