The Director of Roads, Jose Antonio Fernandez, and the mayor of Lorquí, Joaquin Hernandez, this week held a meeting in which analyzed the regional road running through the town of Lorquí.
The CEO noted that the action "is very important for communications with the industrial zone, which generates a great activity and a high volume of traffic on this road, which is the main access road to the town from the motorway Murcia it therefore takes traffic over 11,500 vehicles per day, of which 5.2 percent are heavy. "
Fernandez added that the technical services of the Ministry analyzed the most optimal to develop in the way and allow improvements in road safety and road capacity performance.
Also the possibility of providing crosswalks in RM-B33 passing through this area of ​​industrial estates was analyzed.
