The agreement signed between the City of Lorquí and MicroBank facilitate access to financing to help entrepreneurs start up new businesses, with the aim of boosting job creation.
The mayor of Lorquí, Joaquin Hernandez, director of Marketing and Commercial MicroBank, Núria Danish, and Director of Business Area Molina de CaixaBank, Eugenio Jose Ruiz, have signed a collaboration agreement to facilitate financing of business projects through microcredit.
With the signing of this agreement a credit line of EUR 1 million is set.
The beneficiaries will be individuals and micro-enterprises with fewer than ten employees and an annual turnover of less than two million euros.
Applicants may apply for microcredits of a maximum amount of 25,000 euros (with a maximum of 95% of the investment).
Projects must have a business plan and the favorable feasibility report prepared by the City of Lorquí.
The criterion of microcredit by MicroBank serves mainly to confidence in the person or team applying for the loan and the viability of the project and can be accessed lacking collateral and guarantees people.
Under this agreement, the City of Lorquí is committed to identifying the needs funding, aimed at promoting self-employment, and the establishment, consolidation or expansion of micro businesses autonomous and to provide support services and business advice, analyze the feasibility of the project and direct the natural or legal persons advised by the municipal corporation to MicroBank to analyze it, and if approved, funding requests.
The City of Lorquí, from the Department of Local Development, and through the Agency for Employment and Local Development and Employment Agency, provides citizens with an integrated service employment, and it offers users a whole range of options, services and personnel to help from the closeness to those who want to get a job, broaden their education or launch new business initiatives.
MicroBank, the social bank specializing in microfinance participated entirely by CaixaBank, it is the only bank in Spain dedicated exclusively to funding projects through microcredit.
The company pioneered its business model and remains the most resources earmarked for financing projects through microcredit.
The bank offers microcredits for freelancers, entrepreneurs and micro-enterprises;
and family and personal microcredit, which are targeted to meet needs to overcome temporary difficulties and facilitate personal and family development.
The mayor of Lorquí has ​​ensured that this new initiative is in collaboration with MicroBank is on the line of work of the City Council to improve and generate employment and growth potential in the municipality.
