Passion, Death and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ is dramatized by the Cultural Association "Friends of the living Passion of Christ" Lorquí.
A mobile theater through different parts of the town, and involving up to 100 people, shows scenes of the end of the life of Jesus.
It begins with the Last Supper, which is the only scene that takes place under cover, in the cultural center, at 21:00.
From there they followed different places, from the church square, where the arrest, trial, flogging and the death sentence is represented;
to Cabezo de la Ermita, in which death and resurrection is shown.
About 2,500 people come each year to this Passion Play, which uses facades like the church or the city hall- and decorated to recreate the Gospel passages.
For about two hours, the people of Lorquí is transformed in Jerusalem, thanks to the Cultural Association "Friends of the living Passion of Christ".
