Aid may reach up to 47% of the budget with a maximum amount of 14,850 euros for rehabilitation and 35% for reconstruction up to 30,000 euros.

The three public administrations provide 540,715 euros, representing 64.2% of the total, which helps directly to the owners, who provide 301,320 euros.

A total of 30 houses in the old town of Lorquí, 29 for rehabilitation and more for reconstruction may benefit from the aid program Regeneration and Renewal of Urban Housing which provides an investment for the municipality of 842,035 euros, as have announced at a press conference the mayor of Lorquí, Joaquin Hernandez, and the Minister of Development, Francisco Barnabas.

The Ministry of Public Works, the Autonomous Community and the City and jointly boost the renewal with an important contribution of 540,715 euros, representing 64.2% of total activity, which helps directly to the owners, who assume the rest of the 301320 amount euros.

Interested citizens will have until May 20 to qualify for aid.

In the case of rehabilitation, aid can reach up to 47% of the protected budget, with a maximum amount of 14,850 euros for housing and reconstruction will account for 35% of total cost, with a maximum of 30,000 euros per household.

The mayor expressed his satisfaction because Lorquí can be part of this project and stressed that the aid may serve on accessibility rehabilitation, renovation and even beautification of some areas of the municipality.

It has also remember that the streets that are within the defined area for ARRU are: Scipio, San Roque, Atocha, De la Noria Mayor, Virgen del Rosario, Del Horno, Air Gardens, Constitution Avenue, Dl Pedro Gil, Carretas, Clock, Clock Square, Queen, Virgen del Carmen and Santiago.

For his part, Minister of Public Works has stated that this action "is the result of synergy, positive and necessary, emerging from the public-private partnerships between public authorities and individuals and homeowners, and provides key initiatives to contribute to the revival of the real estate sector. "
