The Center for Contemporary Art 'The Cannery' of Ceuta opened the exhibition 'A look at open', organized by the Ministry of Culture and Spokesperson and Coca-Cola Foundation today.
The exhibition brings together 60 works by fifty artists who are part of the Collection of Contemporary Art Foundation Coca-Cola.
The exhibition's curators Lorena Martínez de Corral, which in turn is curator of the Collection of the Coca-Cola Foundation and Murcia artists Sonia Navarro and FOD, who have intervened in the assembly of the sample, providing thus a new view of the selected works.
The Minister of Culture and the regional government spokesman, Noelia Arroyo, today presented the show with the director of the Coca-Cola, Juan José Litrán, and the commissioners Foundation, noting "the great work and commitment of the Coca-Cola Foundation from the beginning to bring contemporary art to society. "

In 'The Cannery' visitors will find a selection of works that respond to various techniques and disciplines, from painting to video, photography, sculpture, installation and drawing.
The exhibition brings together artists of different ages and styles, offering a multitude of approaches and sensibilities, reflecting their personal worlds and questioning the sociocultural reality around them.
The title 'A look at open' refers to new possibilities and different contexts that open with the creative eye of artists, and mixing in narrative form as ships 'The Cannery' are crossed.
The works of the fifty selected artists assume and reinterpret influences, traditions, standards and visions of the art of the last thirty years, and propose a variety of readings that are a true reflection of contemporary creation.
To perform this broad look at the last decades of contemporary creation, the Coca Cola Foundation had murcianos creators to collaborate in assembling the exhibition, thus implying cultural agents in the region and the local community, creating new links between professionals, who may continue to expand in the future.
With this exhibition, the Coca Cola Foundation continues to spread contemporary art by lending works and organizing exhibitions inside and outside Spain, and activating the art market on the peninsula.
Among the artists in the exhibition are works by three creators of the region, GonzaloSicre, charris and Nico Munuera;
as well as prominent artists who have recently collaborated with the ICA, as Lara Almarcegui, Paul Genovese, Daniel Canogar, Aballí, Chus Garcia-Fraile and Dora Garcia.
In addition, you can see the works of other contemporary references in the current creation, as Chema Alvargonzález, Juan Uslé, Eva Lootz, Antoni Muntadas, Cristina Lucas, Manu Arregui and Gonzalo Puch.
The exhibition will remain open to the public from April 23 to July 17 and will be open Tuesday through Friday from 16:00 to 20:00;
Saturday from 11:00 to 20:00, and on Sundays and holidays from 11:00 to 14:00.
Also, guided tours Tuesday through Friday are organized, at 18:00;

Coca-Cola Foundation Collection
The collection of the Coca-Cola Foundation was created in 1993 from its own collection of contemporary art with the commitment to promote the arts.
Since its inception has given a boost to Spanish and Portuguese artists.
It consists of 384 works of painting, photography, sculpture and video.
Currently, the permanent exhibition is located in the Contemporary Art Center DA2 in Salamanca, and is responsible Lorena Martínez de Corral, creative and contemporary art adviser.
