The mayor of Lorquí, Joaquin Hernandez, has held a minute of silence this morning in front of City Hall, and numerous members of the Moroccan community to show its absolute and complete rejection of the murder last night against a neighboring municipality .
"It is an event that has shocked and saddened all the people".
The mayor has also expressed its condolences and support to the Moroccan community receiving in the Plenary Hall a group of neighbors who gathered at the Consistory was to move its concern over the incident to the authorities.
Hernandez listened to their needs and has been willing to cooperate in whatever is necessary to ensure and guarantee the safety of all residents.
"We never had problems of integration in this town. The Moroccan community lives and lives for many years here and try and coexistence have always been exemplary, and we will work doing our part to keep it that way. This has been a fact isolated by a sick person. "
Also, the mayor has advanced that a working group be created to analyze the situation and determine the appropriate security measures before this event and announced that activated a monitoring device in the area for the next few days.
Hernandez thanked the responsible and serene of the Moroccan community in the municipality attitude to this event and has made available to the friends and family of the victim all services of the City Council to carry out the necessary procedures for the repatriation of the deceased.
