Lorquí City Library, through the Department of Culture, organizes children's storytelling sessions every month to encourage children and young people to read.
The aim of this initiative is to bring the little ones to this space of culture, leisure and learning to maintain close and fluid relationship with the library from an early, such as age and stressed the Councillor for Culture, Maria Dolores Garcia.
"The idea is that smaller know the operation of the library and what it can offer, while older associate this space a place to learn through fun," says the mayor.
The sessions began in February and, after a break on the occasion of the summer season will resume on Thursday 29 September at 17.00.
Among upcoming appointments also highlights the special Halloween on October 31, the storytellers of Christmas on December 22, the Children's Reading Marathon, and the workshop of Christmas decorations on Wednesday 14 December.
