The Ministry of Public Works and Infrastructure, through the Directorate General of Planning, Architecture and Housing has taken today to tender the rehabilitation of a group of public housing, where they live 68 families with limited financial resources, rental system in the municipality of Lorquí, with a total budget of 695,552 euros.
The comprehensive rehabilitation will involve the development of three distinct actions on the property, located in the streets Quevedo and Lope de Vega, and financed by the regional government under the current Housing Plan.
The execution period of the works is 20 weeks and bids can be submitted for 26 calendar days, as recorded by the announcement published today in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia (BORM).
It will focus on improving accessibility, provision of access and replacement of the sewerage, cleanliness and adequacy of sanitary chambers of 68 homes, with an investment of 241,958 euros.
The work will improve and renew the sewerage system, which is deteriorating, with the elimination of manholes, pipes renewal and revision of the pillars of health chamber to ensure maximum structural strength.
In addition, non-slip exterior floors are installed and are enabled independent access to buildings and stairs facing a better individual and community maintenance.
Another action will focus on the rehabilitation of the facades of the building, consisting of repairing the walls and wetlands, fixing doors, renovation of carpentry and painting of the facade to give a new exterior finish.
These works have a budget of 241,928 euros.
Rehabilitation extends to the roof of the building to improve its waterproofing, which will change earrings and a water collection system to be installed by channeling exterior to prevent health can affect cameras downspouts.
This action has an amount of 211,580 euros.
The building is older than 20 years and is distributed in three levels, with ground floor apartments and duplex apartments on the first floor.
The houses are connected by an internal linear courtyard where the entrances to homes in all heights, connected with ramps and stairs.
It is located on a plot of 2,962 square meters with a construction area of ​​5,747 square meters.
This action is included in a program of actions that the Ministry of Development held in 477 public housing nine municipalities in the region (Abarán, Sewer, Archena, Blanca, Ceuta, Cieza, Lorquí, Molina de Segura and Villanueva del Río Segura ), which will involve an investment of 2.45 million euros and will go under the Housing Plan 2013-2016.
