Due to the heavy rains of the last days several houses of the Cabezas de la Ermita and Scipión de Lorquí have been affected.
At the moment the buildings with problems are 8, with damages mainly in the houses cave like collapse of vaults, sinking of chimneys, collapses in facade and profuse cracking.
In addition, in other parts of the heads, slope landslides and terrain settlements have been detected.
From the Town Hall, through the Town Planning Department, the municipal technicians along with technicians from the General Directorate of Local Administration, have been assessing the damages in the area to work on the recovery.
The mayor, Joaquín Hernández, the City Planning Councilor, Carmen Baños, and the Councilor for Services, Francisco García, have also visited the area and are receiving requests from neighbors.
Also, residents of the Azarbe area have also suffered the consequences of heavy rains and in the Saladar Polygon I had to cut the b-33.
The City Council has stressed that work will continue to improve the collection of rainwater in these areas.
In the next days will continue the revisions in the rest of zones and houses to evaluate the situation of the municipality.
