The director general of Citizen Security and Emergencies, Manuel Durán, and the mayor of Lorquí, Joaquín Hernández, delivered today more than 30 volunteers of Civil Protection of the municipalities of Murcia (Torreagüera and El Palmar) Lorquí, (Association and Association of Volunteers ) Ceutí and Alhama de Murcia, as well as Valle de Ricote, diplomas proving the completion of a basic course in Civil Protection, Fire, Mountain, Traffic, First Aid, Communications and Hazardous Materials.

The basic course has been developed over a period of 101 hours and has included both theoretical knowledge and practical exercises in these subjects.

The ceremony of delivery of diplomas has taken place in the plenary hall of the City of Lorquí.
