The mayor of Lorquí, Joaquín Hernández, held a meeting last Wednesday with the Government delegate in the Region of Murcia, Antonio Sánchez-Solís, to request an increase in the number of Guardia Civil troops in the area and thus improve security.
The claim was joined by the mayors of Alguazas, Blas Ruipérez, and Ceutí, Juan Felipe Cano.
They also asked that an analysis be made of the location and situation of the Civil Guard Barracks, which is currently located in Molina de Segura, in order to find a more suitable location for the provision of services in one of the three municipalities To those who provide coverage.
"The barracks gives assistance to the three municipalities so we understand that it would be convenient for better care to be moved and located in one of the villages that serve," as noted Hernandez.
