The City Council of Lorquí, through the Department of Commerce, launches a campaign of solidarity for the benefit of Caritas to collaborate and help the families in need of the people.
Thus, next March 10 at 20.00 hours in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento will be held a launch of solidarity lanterns that have previously been sold at different points in the locality with the aim of raising funds for this charitable association.
The lanterns will cost 3 euros, an amount that will be used in full to Caritas.
The campaign also has the collaboration of the company ilorcitana ACM Transportes that has donated the lanterns to Caritas so that the total of the collected is destined to the families and homes with more necessities of the town.
"We added this new initiative to the different activities that we carried out throughout the year to help and collaborate with Caritas as a token of our appreciation for the important and necessary work they are carrying out in Lorquí.It is our way of recognizing their effort and accompanying them In his work, "as highlighted by the mayor, Joaquin Hernandez, during the presentation of the campaign in the Plenary Hall of the City.
