On Thursday, May 18 (9:30 am) the Association of Entrepreneurs and Merchants of the Segura (ASECOM) organizes in the Cultural Center "Enrique Tierno Galván" of Lorquí a day on cybersecurity.
An activity with free entry that counts on the collaboration of the companies "AGE2" and "Tecnópolis".
The region of Murcia is not exempt from the problematic of computer crimes, as in 2016 several waves of attacks seriously affected the daily operations of SMEs, large companies and institutions in our region.
"The threats that come from the Internet are a concern because they generate many risks that can affect the operation of a company," explains the president of ASECOM, Diego Nicolás, who highlights the usefulness of this day for business managers.
Currently computer crime is estimated at 0.8% of world GDP, more than 6.1 billion dollars and, according to cybersecurity experts, cybercrime will not stop growing as criminals make financial gains.
