Conscience with science 'aimed at preventing the consumption of alcohol and other drugs in adolescents, organized by the Ministry of Health, presented by the manager of the Murciano Health Service (SMS), Asensio López.
More than 9,600 first-year ESO students from the Region were trained during the last course to prevent alcohol consumption, within the Argos Program, which started the Ministry in the school year 2011/2012, through the Unit of Regional Coordinating of Addictions, to approach from a community perspective the education of minors for the prevention of the problem of the consumption of alcohol and other drugs and that also includes the campaign 'Alcohol: Consciousness with science' with posterería exposed in the centers of attention health primary.
According to data from the latest school survey on drug use in secondary students 'Estudes' conducted by the Observatory on drugs in the Region of Murcia in the course of 2014/2015, one in four young people aged 14 years has made 'botellón' Once and six out of ten students have become drunk.

Activities
The day was developed around two conferences on 'Neurobiological effects of alcohol in adolescents', by Dr. Trinidad Herrero Ezquerro, professor of Human Anatomy at the University of Murcia, and Dr. Juan Antonio Ortega Garcia, hospital Virgin of the Arrixaca.
