Within the project that began last September where the mayor of Lorquí Joaquín Hernández, together with the then Deputy Director General of Infrastructures of the Ministry of Education, María Teresa Gálvez and the director of CEIP Jesús García García, Isabel Montero, The City Council, through the Department of Urbanism, has begun the works of the school cafeteria this week in the center.

The works, with a budget of 179,000 euros and a term of execution of three months, will continue the line of the actions executed previously in the zone and will be an improvement for the children and for the parents who are working.

From the City Council, the Councilor for Urban Planning, Carmen Baños, has highlighted that it will be an important improvement for both the people and for all families with school-age children, consolidating a project that has been fighting for a long time in the municipality.
