The works for the installation of lighting in the street Carrerón of the municipality, framed within the new award of the contract of energy services of the City of Lorquí, have begun this week with the aim of implementing a total of 46 led street lamps, high energy efficiency , in one of the main arteries of the town that until now had never had any kind of lighting.

"This was one of the historical claims of the neighbors to which we have responded, improving and also increasing road safety in the area, both road traffic and pedestrians," as stressed by the councilman of Urbanism, Carmen Baños .

The work is part of the improvements that were introduced in the award of the energy services contract together with the installation of lighting in a street in Los Palacios and in Cabezo de la Ermita.

Likewise, the new lighting installation in the municipality is 100% completed in the industrial estates and 90% in the rest of the town and districts.

"This initiative is an improvement in energy efficiency, savings for the City Council, the renewal of lighting and modern facilities," said the mayor.

Also, I advance that soon the neighbors will have a web page to make arrive and to notify the incidences in matter of public lighting and thus to manage them of more efficient form.
