The image of the Lorqu Nazareno, sculptor Francisco Salzillo, will remain exposed in the Salzillo Museum of the capital until next November 11th on the occasion of his participation in the Magna Procesión of the International Congress of Brotherhoods, organized by the Catholic University of Murcia.
Thus, the transfer of the piece was made on November 3, and from this day can be seen along with the other pieces of the master imaginero.
The Nazarene joins the image of San José and El Niño de Sazillo, donated by the Parish of Santiago Apóstol de Lorquí last May, which since then is also exhibited in the Museum and will remain there until 10 from December.
"In the town of Lorquí we are deeply fortunate to have unique pieces of the imagery of the master sculptor from Murcia, including our municipality in the so-called 'Cities of Salizllo.' For his part, the representative of the Brotherhood of Jesus Nazareno de Lorquí, Emilio Marco, has manifested the unusual and extraordinary that the Nazarene is exposed in the center of the Church of Jesus with the best production of Salzillo.

In the act of welcome of the Nazarene in the Church of Jesus, was present the president of the Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus Nazareno and president of the Salzillo Museum, Antonio Gómez Fayrén, who stressed that: "The Nazarene comes to the house of Salzillo, So he comes to his house, and it is a piece of incredible beauty, and for us it is an honor that Lorquí Parish and the City Council allow us to have her here. "
