Thus, from last November 23 and until December 15, the Exhibition Hall of the ilorcitano consistory will show the works of the artist Alvaro Peña in his sample 'When the noise has heart II', filling art with an ideal space for dissemination of culture as is the City Council.
The artist, Álvaro Peña, has exhibited in several of the main cities in Spain, as well as in many countries such as the United States, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal, France and Romania.
In addition, he is a member of the Royal Academy of Alfonso X El Sabio and has given numerous watercolor and illustration workshops, being also selected on different occasions for exhibitions in Italy as a Spanish representative.
His work is in public institutions as well as in private art collections, having also produced a large number of posters both regionally and nationally and numerous illustrations for French publishers and Spanish books.
In the words of the mayor of the municipality, Joaquín Hernández, "it is an absolute pleasure to have your work hanging on the walls of this City Hall."
The Exhibition Spaces Plan fulfills the objective of increasing the visibility of the creators of the Region and helping them to publicize their work.
Through this initiative, 59 artists will participate in projected exhibitions in 22 municipalities, bringing culture closer to citizens wherever they reside.
This project also fulfills the purpose of collaborating with the town halls to expand its cultural offer and that its museums and halls have a quality programming.
After the exhibition of Sonia Muñoz and Inma Escudero, with this third exhibition the final touch is put on the exhibition of this plan launched by the Autonomous Community.
"This show adds and adds value to the work that from this City Council, through the Department of Culture, we are doing to offer an important activity and cultural and artistic programming in our town throughout the year, and thanks to the Community project Autónoma we have counted on three exhibitions of important regional artists to put in value his work and also to use and take advantage of the spaces available to local administrations, "as the mayor of the municipality during the inauguration of the exhibition.
