For the third consecutive year, the City Council and the Pensioner's Club recognize in the figure of several neighbors of the town the work of all elders to make Lorquí what it is today.
Thus, on this occasion, the honorees were: Andrés Gadea Alacid, Francisca Marco Herrero, Guillermo Latorre Hernandez, Rosa Abad Campuzano, Carmen Melgarejo Arnaldos and Josefa García Asensio, who collected a commemorative plaque and a bouquet of flowers from the mayor of Lorquí , Joaquín Hernández, and the president of the Pensioner's Club, Francisco Andugar.

On the other hand, the councilor of the Third Age, Amparo Martínez, highlighted the important activity carried out by the elderly through the Pensioner's Club and their involvement and participation in the social and cultural life of the town.
The act was enlivened by the participation of the Band of Music of the Friends of Music Association of Lorquí that played several musical pieces.
