The City Council of Lorquí continues betting on citizen participation and will conduct a series of consultations on topics of interest to the municipality.
During the month of April a participatory process will be launched with the first two consultations
From the councils of Urbanism, Local Development and Citizen Participation has launched an ambitious project to learn and improve mobility in the town.
The City Council requests citizen collaboration for the first phase of the design of the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan of Lorquí.
"The diagnosis of mobility is of vital importance in designing safer and more efficient routes, adapting road traffic and reducing CO2 emissions," said the Councilor for Health and Participation, Jesús Abenza. The Mobility survey was presented by Roberto Liñán, Director of the Mobility and Transport Research Group of the UCAM, in the Municipal Council of Citizen Participation that took place in March and is intended to take place between April and May.
As for the Works and Services Plan (POS), the City Council requests the opinion of the residents of the municipality about the works of POS 2018-2019.
"From the projects developed according to the diagnosis of needs, will be the residents of Lorquí who choose what work will be the amount of the POS, that is, where public money is spent to improve our people," said the councilman.
The POS is aimed at reducing the deficit in infrastructures and basic equipment in municipalities with less than 50,000 inhabitants.
On this occasion, you can choose between two projects.
On the one hand, the improvement and rehabilitation of the streets of Aire, del Horno, de la Reina and prolongation of Calle del Reloj to Atocha street.
On the other hand, the section of the Avenida de la Constitución from Calle La Cerca to Calle Encomienda, which would solve the problems of neighbors and businesses in the area: road safety, widening of sidewalks, tree planting and a new collector to avoid floods.
You can vote through an online survey or deposit the vote in an urn installed in the City Council.
The deadline to vote the works the POS will be from 9 to 20 April, both included.
