"This course is directed to people without knowledge of first aid materials and would like to obtain the necessary knowledge to act appropriately in an emergency and provide first aid while waiting for specialized medical care," said local Councillor for Health, Jane Maria Marin, who noted that "the basic care provided by the first person to circle the victim of an accident or sudden illness are essential to their survival."
