The general director of Public Safety and Emergency Luis Gestoso, this morning attended the delivery of a new vehicle to the local police Lorqui, acquired by the City through a grant awarded by the Autonomous Community.

Tourism is suited for police functions whose cost has risen to 22,824 euros, of which the regional government has provided 21,500 euros, under the call for proposals for the improvement of policing.

In 2008 the Autonomous Community has also funded the purchase of two motorcycles, five laptops, five micro headset, three wheels to measure and five local police flashlights, for a total of 19,853 euros.

Currently, the staff of the local police Lorquí consists of 25 players, plus two that currently are completing their training.
