Lorquí City Council, with support from the Department of History of Art at the University of Murcia, which has produced two reports on those who value the exceptional historical and artistic value of "Salzillo" the municipality has asked the Ministry of Culture and Tourism regional government's statement of Cultural Interest (BIC) for that parcel.

Summary of achievements Salzillo
It is unique in the Region of Murcia, almost unknown until now.
