Local Board of Lorquí of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) raised more than 2,000 euros to the charity gala held on Saturday February 26 at the Cultural Center "Enrique Tierno Galván" ilorcitano municipality whose stalls and chicken were overflowing.
With the slogan "Long x live. We sang all", this proposal was a strong representation of residents of the municipality, who contributed their grain of sand, and his voice to this worthy cause.
Were a total of 17 songs spread over about half an hour gala, performed by about 50 people for a project in which also included the local mayor, Dolores Garcia Villa, and the councilman of Culture and Celebrations, Antonio Asensio.
At the end the ceremony, the president of the AECC in Lorquí took the stage to all young artists who participated in the festival and made them a gift to each of them.
Consolidated spirit of solidarity
The entrance was a gift and it was a matter of five euros, the same price for those who participated spending their contribution to the so-called "Tier Zero."
A fund to be allocated to the various actions taken by this association, as, for example, information and prevention work, in the municipality of Lorquí.
"The neighbors of our community have turned to this gala, for which they have put aside their embarrassment to sing for a cause so supportive," said Garcia Villa, who remembers "the consolidated spirit of solidarity of people of Lorquí which traditionally works with associations such as pout, or Parish Caritas AECC own.
