Lorquí streets have received on the afternoon of Sunday March 13 2011 the great carnival parade of the municipality, which involved about 500 people who have wasted imagination, ingenuity and talent in abundance.
In all the groups have been 14 participants, which has been seen, among others, to local schools, the local rock of "The Cot", a dance studio of the "Innova", the ilorcitana Infant School and up to three foreign groups coming from Sangonera La Verde, Alguazas and Ceuta.
Departing from the Station Road and finishing at the Town Hall Square as is tradition, the groups participants opted for the awards given by the Consistory ilorcitano (a plaque for the best three proposals).
A day full of joy, color noise and revelry in which the participants have passed with three main objectives: to put aside everyday concerns, to surprise with their costumes and enjoy the most.
"Our neighbors always respond to the major events and popular the Carnival is no less," said Councilman local Celebration, Antonio Asensio.
"Despite the crisis, which none of us forget, have returned to show off his wit, inspiration and grace, and we had a great time, as one would expect."
