The Government of Spain has been transferred to Lorquí about 2 million euros between 2009 and 2010
The government delegate in the Region of Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, and the Mayor of Lorquí, Dolores Garcia, visited the improvements made through a draft energy conservation and efficiency carried out in several streets of this town.
These have been financed entirely by the Plan E 2010 of the Government of Spain with a total investment of 600,000 euros.
González Tovar stressed the importance of the project already financed the renovation of the Clock and Mayor Street is full, improving urban supply networks, drainage, exterior lighting and telephone.
These works have included the replacement of a 24-point spot lamp LED (Light Emitting Diode), which provides better lighting, more energy efficient and, therefore, more savings.
It has also renovated all supply and sanitation networks of those streets with more modern materials to achieve greater efficiency and prevent loss of water resources.
In addition, we proceeded to underground infrastructure networks that host both telecommunications telephony, Internet networks, such as low voltage, thus reducing the visual impact.
Added to this is that in those streets has been carried out semipeatonalización the construction of a single platform where cobblestone curbs are removed, resulting in a barrier-free accessible space, has also managed to improve road safety , since the traffic in these areas is slower.
Both the rehabilitation of the environment, such as the removal of existing architectural barriers.
"Assumes" the delegate said the Government-a significant cost savings for the municipality and greater energy efficiency and water in this neighborhood Lorquí, improving services available to the public in this town. "
The Government delegate pointed out that through the State Fund for Employment and Local Sustainability 2010, has invested a total of 746,373 euros.
With it was carried out both that project and energy efficiency savings as a project of social spending of various measures in education in public schools Lorquí has ​​received an investment of 139,008 euros and that will benefit some 600 local people.
Nearly 2 million euros between 2009 and 2010
The Government delegate pointed out that under the Local Investment Fund, 2009, was invested in the municipality of 1,188,298 euros for the completion of 6 activities have generated 67 jobs.
In total, through 2009 and 2010 Lorquí Fund received from the Government of Spain 2 million and the creation of 80 jobs, which represents the largest investment in just two years by a government, and notes the municipal commitment of President Rodríguez Zapatero.
Some of the work already done in the municipality of Lorquí we highlight the renewal of urban infrastructure in Lepanto Street (198,875 euros), conditioning the environment of the fireplace in the road where we have proceeded to the paving of the Square, installation of street furniture, landscaping and street lighting (49,601 euros).
Added to this are remodeling work on the streets Pablo Picasso (342,641 euros), in the street Gardens (191,457 euros), and Carnation Street (7092).
