Lorquí City Council has recently completed works to rehabilitate and restore the house-cave located under the head of the Chapel of the town (at number 11, Calle Vega Media del Segura), and condition as rural housing.
This has been possible thanks to grant from the Ministry of Culture of the Regional Government, amounting to 55,000 euros, which have joined 6,200 others submitted by the municipal coffers.
The studies were performed on a total of 212'08 m2, of which corresponded to the cave and housing 74'56 53'55 m2 m2, targeting the rest extensions and the front yard.
