The mayor of Lorquí, Dolores Garcia, and the local police sergeant of the town, Cayetano Ruiz, have been delivered on the morning of Friday, 15 abirl school students "Dolores Escámez" of the locality of their respective ilorcitana qualifications for participating in road safety education sessions held this week.
An activity in which children could expand their knowledge of traffic rules and signs, and learn how to act in this road environment.
In this proposal, jointly organized by the City Council and the local police ilorcitano have involved about 240 children six and older in both its theoretical and in practice.
The aim of both was to create positive habits and attitudes to trafficking, focusing on issues such as pedestrian traffic rules, the interpretation of situations and the creation of habits of prudence in relation to traffic or the adoption of preventive attitudes and defensive techniques from traffic.
Important initiative
In this event, which was marked by a fun-also attended by the Local Development ilorcitana Councillor, María José López, director of the school and "Dolores Escámez" Ginés Solano.
"This initiative is vital to the importance of road safety education even further heating between our youth and in the future, creating a fixed traffic park in the town," said Ruiz Garcia.
