Lorquí City Council recently awarded the installation work of connection points and mains in the town's weekly market, which is installed in the park regularly to the Constitution and its environment.
The works, valued at 46,000 euros and subsidized by the Ministry of Universities, Business and Regional Government Research, will begin shortly with the aim to support and promote this business proposal.
The weekly Lorquí public market, which takes around 80 trading posts every Monday installed their stalls of fruit and vegetables, perfumes, cleaning products, clothing and other handicrafts.
A market which last year changed location-before the street was between May Day, Federico García Lorca and Antonio Machado-to solve the various problems caused the former site for parking and accessibility at the time of occurrence of some emergency.
In addition, the new location has allowed the creation of 12 new trading posts and providing market users of public toilets.
