On the night of October 5 on Wednesday was held in the Plenary Hall of the City of Lorquí the talk "mobile antennas: technical, legal and health" promoted by the local Department of New Technologies and bringing together a large audience that packed the municipal grounds.
The objective of this proposal which had free entry was to explain to residents of the municipality labor-specialized sources and through a number of perspectives on the health effects of these facilities, dispelling the uncertainties and concerns that often surround this issue.
The talk was attended by the Mayor ilorcitano, Joaquin Hernandez, and Councillor for New Technologies, Carmen Baños, as well as the coordinator of the Technical Advisory Service and Information (SATI) of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), Joanna Arranz.
Different perspectives
Thus, the part that dealt with "The operation of mobile telephony. The technical aspects of the installation and operation of the antennas" was conducted by Adrian Nogales, telecommunications engineer and head of the technical area of ​​the FEMP SATI.
Also discussed the legal aspects of mobile telephony in the "How do I file and authorizes the installation of antennas?" Which was addressed by Antonio Moreu, lawyer and head of legal department of that service of the FEMP.
In the chapter "antennas are dangerous?"
dealt with health guarantees for the deployment of mobile networks, which were exposed by Francisco Vargas, a physician and leader of the SATI health of the FEMP.
After the presentations by experts, was opened for questions where the speakers resolved the doubts expressed by the public.
